Not A Treatment For Any Skin Condition

Gelagen has no role in the treatment of acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, dermatitis, hair loss or any other diagnosed condition. It does not replace a prescription and no medication should be changed because of something read on a website. Where a diagnosis exists, the clinician managing it decides whether a supplement belongs anywhere near it.

Results Take Time, And Some People See None

Skin replaces its surface roughly every four to six weeks. Nothing taken by mouth changes a face in days, and this site says twelve weeks on every page where the question arises. Results depend on age, skin type, diet, sleep, sun exposure, hormones, existing health and consistency of use, and a proportion of people will notice no change at all.

Comments shown anywhere here illustrate the kind of message we receive. They are not typical results, not proof and not a forecast of your own experience. This site publishes no before-and-after photographs, because angle, lighting, camera and make-up move a face more than any supplement does.

Nothing Here Replaces Sunscreen

Ultraviolet exposure causes the large majority of visible skin ageing, and nothing swallowed protects against it. Any product marketed as an alternative to sunscreen is making a claim it cannot support, and that includes this one if anybody ever suggests it. When To Stop And See Someone

• Any rash, swelling or difficulty breathing — stop and get medical help.
• Headaches, blurred vision or unusual bone or joint aches, which can indicate too much vitamin A from all sources combined.
• Digestive symptoms that have not settled after a week.
• Any yellowing of the skin or eyes, or unusual tiredness.
